Is this an ongoing or one time fee?
On going. You pay for the number of months you wish to use the software.  The best part is if you want to udpate your page often you can buy a package of more time, if you don't think you will update it frequently you can just pay for each month as you need it.
Is this software on my computer?
No. This is software that is installed on your website server.
Do you have to install it or can I?
No. You can do your own installation if you would like.  If you are not sure how to install it we do offer the installation for $25.  The installation is a one time fee and unless you delete the files it remains on your server.
If I create a splash page and then let me subscription laspse will my page go away?
No. As long as you keep the software installed your page will work. You just will not be able to edit your page without a current subscription.
Do I have to use your designs?
No you do not.  if you do not want to design your own, we have sponsored designers that you can contact to work with you to create your design.
Will this work with others websites?
Yes. We know it will work with any website that you have hosted on your own server. This will not work with those who have their website template company host their website for them.

Is this an ongoing or one time fee? 

It's really neither. It's a subcription service, but it is not an automatically renewing service. This means that you do not have to worry about charges coming your way for something you are not using.

It is the ultimate use as you need tool.  When you go to make updates if your subscription has lapsed you will be given the option to work in trial mode or to purchase another month's subcription when you go to the editor.

 NOTE: Trail mode does not allow changes to be saved or published.


Is this software on my computer?

What is a SubDomain? Do I have to use one?

A subdomain is a folder on your server that can hold files or even another website.  If your url is www.falashpalette.com a subdomain would be www.flashpalette.com/TESTING. 

No you do not need to put your splash page in a subdomain, unless that's where you want it to be. Many photographers have mulitple urls off their main website.

 

If I do not want to have a subdomain what do I put?

You just leave that blank and the splash page will be created on your main websites url, so for us that would be www.flashpalette.com.  Since we don't want a splash page there, as ours are demo pages we create the sub-domains demo5 etc to house our test pages.

 

I cannot see my changes in preview or published page! Why?

Because you need to refresh the browser, to force it reloads everything from server instead loading from cache.
